1. CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL - EXISTING LITIGATION

CC/SA (Government Code section 54956.9 (d)(1)) Name of case: SOCM I, LLC v. City of Oxnard, et al., Ventura County Superior Court, Case No. 56-2012-00427637-CU-MC-VTA The Interim City Attorney requested that this item be discussed in closed session under the Brown Act exception of Conference with Legal Counsel - Existing Litigation. The purpose of the closed session is to report to City Council on the status of the litigation.

2. CONFERENCE WITH REAL PROPERTY NEGOTIATOR.

CC Property: Approximately 21 acres of land located at the southeast corner of Oxnard Boulevard and Gonzales Road. Agency negotiator: Greg Nyhoff, City Manager. Negotiating party: Gary L. Young, Young & Company, Inc. Under negotiation: Price and terms of payment for the potential lease of City property. The City Manager requested that this item be discussed in closed session under the Brown Act exception of Conference with Real Property Negotiator (Government Code section 54956.8). The purpose of the closed session is for the City Council to review the status of negotiations for the potential lease of real property owned by the City and to provide instructions to its negotiator.
